S T A T I C  (welikestatic) is the combined creative output of Craig Evans & Tom Jackson.

Initially established in 2006, STATIC began as a screen print studio in Scarborough - North Yorkshire.

Following a move to London in 2008, they went on to establish themselves as exhibiting artists with a number of UK and international galleries.

Since 2015 they have been painting murals and working on public art projects and commissions. 

They are founding members of Wood Street Walls and in 2017 renovated a disused school building to create a shared workspace, Wood Street Studios in Walthamstow.

STATIC have built a reputation based on bold and striking designs and have a keen eye for detail, creating unique artworks that reflect on culture, personal stories and collective experiences.

The "Chinook Chandelier" logo has represented STATIC since 2006 and continues to carry their message where ever they go. The two-part design reflects the duality of their working relationship and can be read in many ways but should never be turned upside down...
